Apologies for a bit of a long winded post but there’s a fair amount of information!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Hare but unfortunately we have to put a few rules in place to ensure everyones safety. We ask that everyone observes these rules (local or not!) to ensure we can stay open for the foreseeable. Anyone seen not following the rules will be asked to leave, as failure to follow the guidelines could result in us being forced to shut again. We appreciate this sounds a bit serious but we want everyone to be safe and our livelihood is on the line.
Some of these rules are in place only for the first weekend to make sure that we can cope with everyone rushing back to get a proper beer! We truly appreciate that you don’t want to come to the pub to be given a rulebook to follow but we both need time to get used to the new way of operating so these are all subject to change.
We are going to be serving in the garden & for bookings only for the first weekend with a maximum of 6 per booking. Time slots will be 12 – 3pm (both days), 3 – 6pm (both days) & 6 – 9pm (Saturday only). There will be no availability for walk in customers over the weekend, so please ring the pub first to check availability before making a trip.
We are also bound by law to collect your names & contact numbers upon arrival, this will be no different to the details required when you normally book a table with us so don’t be scared! We are also going to be cashless with no minimum spend on card and all drinks must be paid for at point of dispense, we won’t be able to offer tabs of any kind.
We are tweaking our opening hours going forwards:
Tuesday – Friday 3 – 9pm
Saturday 12 – 9pm
Sunday 12 – 6pm
We will be remaining shut on Mondays.
We are holding off on reopening the kitchen for the foreseeable future so we will be serving drinks only.
Will & Chantal
