One of our favourite annual events returns this October as we once again celebrate Oktoberfest at the Hare & Hounds.
Join us for an afternoon and evening of authentic imported German beers, traditional Bavarian-inspired food and live music in a fantastic Oktoberfest atmosphere.
We'll be serving a carefully selected range of imported German beers, including classic Oktoberfest lagers and festival favourites, giving you the chance to enjoy some of Germany's finest brewing traditions right here in Leavenheath.
Providing the entertainment will be a fantastic live Oompah band from Colchester, performing throughout the event with all the traditional Bavarian classics, lively singalongs and audience participation that make Oktoberfest such a memorable occasion. Our kitchen will also be serving a specially prepared German-inspired menu, featuring hearty dishes to perfectly accompany the beers on offer.
Whether you're a regular at our Oktoberfest celebrations or joining us for the first time, expect a welcoming atmosphere, great food, fantastic live entertainment and an excellent selection of authentic German beers.
Traditional Bavarian dress is entirely optional, but lederhosen and dirndls are always encouraged and help add to the occasion.
